Famailla: home of the "empanada"

Route number 38 is the chosen to get to the gorgeous city of Famailla, where we can enjoy a subtropical weather with an average that ranges between 23 º C. and 35 º C.
In Famailla we have lots of atractions such as the National Festival of the “empanada” where the best cooks are rewarded. There are made "empanadas" of meat, chicken and cheese though every restaurant guards its secret in the majority they cook with spices such as paprika and cumin.
In its surroundings the locality has sugar, textile, citrus industries that the tourist love to visit becouse of their good quality. You can also enjoy this way the landscape that constitutes a beautiful subtropical jungle, close to natural east as the Rio Famaillá, with its silent and crystalline waters.
Another place to visit is the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen that is considered to be a historical monument. The San Martin square is the point where all the people like to meet to chat and drink something.
If you go to Famailla you have to eat the “empanadas” done in ovens of fuelwood but you can also try “miel de caña” and Anchi (dessert on the basis of corn flour). Some good restaurants are Restaurant Oasis (Arabic food) and Restaurant La Carpa de Esther("empanadas" and tamales)

Lules: at only 22 km from San Miguel

Located at only 22 km from San Miguel we reach to one of the most beautiful places we can visit, San Isidro de Lules. Before coming to Lules's city, we find the ruins of the Jesuitical Chapel in San Jose, which date back to the 17th century. It has been declared Historical Monument because it is a historical legacy of supreme importance for the people of Tucuman.
They consist in the old chapel and the convent founded by the Jesuits in 1670. In the convent, nowadays in ruins,we can find the bedrooms, the store, the workshops and the school where the Indians used to study. This is a very interesting place to visit becouse of its beautiful history.
Another place to visit are the Quebradas of Lules. This is one of the best places for relaxing in Tucuman. This “quebrada” opens among two big mountains where the Lules river passes. It is a great place to prepare bbqs and picnics and perhaps to swim in the waters of Lules river.
In Lules we have lots of good things to eat such as “tamales”, “humitas”, “empanadas” but one of the most famous things of this city is their orange juice called Citric, one of the most sold product in Tucuman. Strawberries are also very famous in this part of the province.
Accommodation in Lules is not easy to get. We have some hotels like Francia Hotel, but the most wanted for tourist are the huts becouse of their low prices.

Marijuana legalization

When we talk about legalizing marijuana, there are many economic, health, and social issues to analyze. This text separates the legalization in two. One is the economic and the other is the social part.
When talking about economic, we have to know that the battle on marijuana is a very expensive one. On the other way we have to know that the price of a unit of marijuana is $8.60 on the street while its cost of production is only $1.70. In a free market, a $7 profit for a unit of marijuana would not last for long. This would make that dealers dissapear.
On the other hand, in the social aspect, he thinks that our kids shouldnt grow with that freedom of doing what ever they wan`t.
In my opinion I think that the legalization is going to be something good to the economy but a very bad thing in the social aspect that is the most important thing.

A big lie (Number 11)

It was the year 2003 and I was in my junior year in high school. The classes were finishing and I had to sit for five exams.
I wanted to go on holidays with my friends but I knew that if I told my mom that I had to sit for five exams she would not want me to go.
I usually don`t lie to my mon but this time was different, I NEEDED to go on holidays with my friends.
When I arrived that day to my house I looked at her and told that I only had to sit for one exam so she told me that there was no problem and that I could go with my friends.
But one week later she misteriously found out that I wasn`t telling the true.
I couldn`t go on holidays with my friends and I had to spend the holidays studying day and night.
That was the biggest and worst lie I ever told.
